THE CLITORIS

PURE UNADULTERATED FEMALE PLEASURE

.

The clitoris is an intriguing and fascinating female anatomical structure that bears a remarkable resemblance to the male penis. It holds a distinct high-end status as a nerve-dense pleasure organ, boasting the highest concentration of nerve endings per square centimeter compared to any other part of the human body.

The clitoris is unique among human body organs as it lacks any reproductive or urinary function. Its sole purpose is to provide pure, unadulterated pleasure for females during sexual stimulation.

The clitoris is a remarkable and intricate female pleasure organ that deserves greater recognition and understanding.

Despite its significant role in female sexual pleasure and function, it has been historically misrepresented and overlooked in medical textbooks and discussions.

Correcting this oversight is crucial to cultivating a more comprehensive understanding of female anatomy and promoting gender equality in medical text books and education.

THE REAL SIZE OF THE CLITORIS

Contrary to the outdated notion of it being “pea-sized,” the entire clitoris is a substantial structure with an average length of around ten centimeters.

This length includes both the visible external part, known as the glans, and the internal components, which are equally important in female sexual arousal and orgasm.

Just as medical textbooks extensively cover the anatomy of the penis, providing multiple illustrations and detailed descriptions, the clitoris should receive equal attention and respect.

Unfortunately, the clitoris has often been omitted entirely from educational materials or relegated to a mere label on diagrams, devoid of any meaningful description.

This lack of proper representation perpetuates the notion that female sexual anatomy is less relevant or essential than its male counterpart, perpetuating a gender bias within medical education.

To rectify this disparity, medical curricula should place more emphasis on the comprehensive understanding of the clitoris, its anatomy, and its function.

This includes exploring the external and internal components, such as the glans, shaft, crura, and vestibular bulbs, all of which contribute to the clitoris’s complex role in female sexual pleasure.

TEN THINGS THAT YOU DID

NOT KNOW ABOUT THE CLITORIS

1 — THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THE CLITORIS

The clitoris possesses greater dimensions than one might imagine.  It can vary in size, usually ranging between 7 to 12 centimeters (around 3 to 5 inches) in length. Beyond its visible head or glans, it constitutes a larger pleasure organ, discreetly concealed beneath the vulva’s surface. It elegantly encircles the vaginal opening and extends gracefully toward the thighs. The part that meets the eye—the clitoral head or glans—is just the small tip of this intricate structure.

.

2 — CLITORAL SENSITIVITY

It is estimated that this intricate organ houses approximately 8,000 sensory nerve endings, and some sources suggest that the actual count might exceed 10,000. These sensory nerve endings are distributed throughout the clitoral structure, making it one of the most densely innervated regions in the human body.

Expanding further, sensations started in the clitoris can spread across the pelvic area, affecting over 15,000 other nerve endings.

.

3 — CLITORAL STIMULATION TO REACH ORGASM

50 to 75% of women need direct clitoral stimulation to achieve an orgasm. Most women need something more than vaginal intercourse to reach an orgasm, and the clitoris plays a large role in that.

.

4 — CLITORAL ENGORGEMENT

When the clitoris becomes sexually aroused, this unique pleasure organ can swell and expand, sometimes increasing in size by an impressive 50% to 300%. This occurs because more blood flows to the clitoral tissues, causing it to become larger and more sensitive.

.

5 — THE CLITORIS AND THE PENIS SHARE SIMILAR CHARACTERISTICS

The clitoris forms from the same tissues that become the glans and shaft of the penis, and this shared embryonic origin makes these two organs homologous (different versions of the same structure). In addition the clitoris has a foreskin, also known as the clitoral hood, and a shaft.

.

6 — NO TWO CLITS ARE ALIKE

Just like fingerprints, no two clitorises are exactly the same. Each one is unique in its size and shape.

.

7 — ROLE IN FEMALE ORGASM

The clitoris a primary pleasure organ for people with a vagina is exceptionally sensitive and solely devoted to providing pure unadulterated pleasure.

.

8 — USE OF THE WORD “CLIT”

The name “Clitoris” dates back to the 17th century and could derive from words for “sheath”, “key” or “latch”, or “to touch or tickle” The first recorded use of the word “clit” was in America in the 1950s.

.

9 — CLITORAL ERECTIONS

Your clitoris gets even bigger and harder right when it’s owner is about to orgasm, just like a penis does.

.

10 — CLITORAL SIZE

When puberty begins, the clitoris starts to increase in size, usually getting 1.8 times larger by the time puberty ends. But for some females the clitoris can grow even more after menopause, as much as seven times the size it was at birth.
